I was playing around with Matt Brett's feed icon, remember I mentioned it in my 'Forget rss/xml/atom, call it a feed' post, and thought to myself, why don't I put a selection of 12x12 and 16x16 icons into a zipfile for other bloggers to download. They're saved in .png format, but could easily be converted to .gif using any reasonable paint program. These colorful little icons are ideal for any blog theme that either doesn't include a feed icon, or where the original designer hasn't updated the icon to the new format. A lot of older blog themes have used a icons with the words 'xml' or 'rss' superimposed on a colored background. The icons in my zipfile are all glossy rather than flat-toned, but if I get good feedback I might extend the color range. Download the feed-icon zipfile.
