Ok, so I know Bex01 isn't one of my templates, but I'm personally quite excited by this. Bex put in a lot of effort making this template as good as it is, and now its been ported to Thingamablog. To all the naysayers who think Serendipity will never be a major player, check this out. Looking at Gordon's port he still needs to fix up a couple of pages but I'd say this won't present too many problems for him. Now, how long do you think it will be before other Serendipity templates start being ported to other systems. I guess only the unique templates will be ported, so if anyone is interested, here is a list of my current templates that were designed by me and are unique to Serendipity.

SmallBiz01
Soccer2006
Serendipity Default theme
Bubblegum theme

I have a few other templates on the boil, at least two of which are unique to Serendipity, and all my templates are GPL, so if you like them, go ahead and port them to other systems (even Blogger if you like), then let me know what you've done and I'll give you a mention.

Blog: New Look
After (almost) two years of the same Blog look/theme, I have changed the Blog to use the Bex01 theme, templates courtesy of Carl G and the Bexology site (evidently there is also a Bex02 theme also in the works). Feel free to post comments and let me know

This is way too cool! Needless to say I'm working on another template that will be released in the not too distant future - and I built in what I think are some slick features. Not only is a three column dynamic layout but it has a javascript driven toolbar for adding a bookmark, printer friendly version (among some other stuff I won't leak at this point) and it works on all browsers. :-)

Since Carl's post I have amended various details of the prot of Serendipity to Thingamablog, notable a printer friendly css file. Check it out at http://www.gbtamc.co.uk/blog/ and choose print preview from your browser menu.
