Since deciding to become full-time Internet Marketers we've been taking a serious look the various media available for promoting our programs, one of them being podcasting. To date I've only ever created my own podcasts but of course these rarely sound professional. I'm not sure why but my voice always sounds quite squeaky in a recording, and yet in the real world its a normal male voice.
Podcasting is a technology I want to start using to explain how my programs work, and so it appears I need a voice over artist. Luckily there are
podcast production houses that can help, and I expect many other online marketers will need to avail themselves of these services, after all, professionalism is at stake.
As online marketing continues to develop webmasters like me need to keep finding new ways to get the attention of our prospective clients. It used to be that we only needed to know some HTML and using the keyword tag, then we had to understand SEO, followed by the blogging revolution. The future will probably see vlogging and podcasting become the standard, which of course means unless I take a course in post video, audio and post production I'm never going to make it.
Now given that my intention is to develop a healthy online business with much of the income being sourced passively, the last thing I want to do is go back to college for these sorts of courses. My time really is better spent working on my business.
