I could not believe the game last night, England and France in a mighty struggle for the right to play in the final, and in the last few minutes England manage a couple of drop goals, I totally get why the French players were in tears. They put up an awesome fight, and in my opinion were the better team, but that's sport for you.
In a previous entry I predicted Fiji might win, erm, got that wrong didn't I. Worst of all I'd placed some bets on France to take the world cup. Now I have to work out who my next favourite is going to be.

So the next game is South Africa vs Argentina for the second spot in the final. Hailing from South Africa I'm going to have to back them, but I'm a bit worried about my choice. Mostly because the Puma's are playing spectacular games at the moment, and the last few years have seen South Africa choke when the pressure gets too intense (like in a semi-final).
If my instinct is right, then we'll see an England vs Argentina final, but if my emotional side is right then it'll be an England vs South Africa final, and my logical "let's look at the odds" side is just plain confused. Maybe the best thing to do flip a coin. [Hunts around for a coin] Damn, can't find one, I'll flip my USB stick instead. Verbatim side is South Africa, 1GB side is Argentina. Uh oh, it landed on Argentina.
Maybe I should just place bets on Argentina and South Africa to beat England. I don't like the English team very much, I don't know whether it the colour of their jerseys, the look on the faces or what, but I just don't like them. I want to see them get beaten and sent home crying like the French were. Actually in that case it would be really funny if Argentina do win a place in the final. LOL.
