So hopefully everything should get back to normal again in the next few days, I'm back online, and kudos to Telefonica, who are a lot more efficient than their German counterparts, our Internet was already connected when we got here and setting up wi-fi around the house was simplicity itself after we translated the instructions - unfortunately we don't speak any Spanish yet.
Now some of you will no doubt ask me why we're living in Spain if we don't speak Spanish - erm, we did that in Germany as well, it worked out OK, it's amazing how much you can learn in a few months of full immersion. We probably will buy a house in Germany at some stage in the future, it's a great country and we love it, but the next year at least will see us in Andalucia, we're on the outskirts of Ronda, about an hour north of Marbella. Lovely place and people have been incredibly welcoming.
I'm hoping to find a language school in Ronda where we can study Spanish, apparently there are a few of them around but it's one of those chaotic little towns that is hard to get around in, actually getting around is easy, parking is difficult. We had decided before we got here that we weren't going to get too involved in the expat community, we actually do want to learn Spanish and make Spanish friends, but the expats have already found us and they're wonderful people so our ideas might just have to be chucked out the window.
Coming Soon
We have a new HTML template that is
Before the new year we made the decision to take on some web clients and currently have three projects on the boil in addition to a couple of personal sites we want to develop. Our clients have to come first and I'm hoping we can finalise these projects in the next few days. We're going to use Pixabella's site as the portfolio site since most of the design work comes from her anyway.
I've also got some ideas for further screencasts on Serendipity and Ning, and I might just be tempted to produce a few for Blogger as well. Regarding Ning, the Skins 4 Ning site will be getting some more work soon, and most likely a new design as well, but probably not much before the middle of February.
That's it for now, Happy 2008
