Weather getting warmer, now I need swimwear

With the weather in Spain being warmer than Germany, sometime the mid afternoon temperature here is around 16 or 17 degrees, and I've been thinking of maybe taking a quick dip in the pool. It's only a small pool about 8metres long but I can definitely do laps in it.

Only problem is I don't have any swimwear, and it's too early in the year for the shops here to stock anything, it's all still winter oriented. Hah, I live online and found a shop in Sydney that will ship mens underwear overseas and they carry all the brands I know and have used for years like Bonds, HisWear, Lonsdale, Trent Nathan, Mitch Dowd and so much more.

If you're interested, check out their to see the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Yeah yeah, I know what you're thinking, a bit too much information, but seriously, have a look at the swimwear.
I make no apologies for wanting good quality swimwear, having spent a lot of time in the surf or at the beach back in Oz I can tell you the right swimwear is important, just like a guy would never wear uncomfortable underwear.

And this is going to sound like I'm homesick or something, I'm not, I promise, but sometimes the brands in Europe are just too different, the sizing can be painful to work out for one thing so being able to select some gear in Australian sizes and then have it shipped to me here is what I want. And their site automatically picked up my location and presented prices in Euros.

Now out of consideration for my readers I'm not going to tell you what I've ordered, and I'm definitely not going to upload pictures of me modelling underwear, the ladies who read my blog will just have to console themselves with looking at the Dugg site.

    It's the hottest time of the year. All week 18 at night, 26 in the day here in the mountains. The beaches are 22-30 year round, with the water at a constant 26. No swimming for me until the wife has the baby which should be any day now. We'll end up going to to the beach a month or so after that. Good luck on your purchase ;-)

    Woah, that sounds awesome, so how easy is it to emigrate to Costa Rica, mucho dineros, or just turn up and sign some forms?

    You can be a permanent resident in a few ways. The easiest is being "retired" and having a regular "pension" deposited in a Costa Rican bank. It's something like $1000 per month over two years deposited regularly and the money being taken out for expenses. This shows them that you don't need to work to live here. The other easy one is to have a baby. Residency is automatic if your child is born here. Getting married allows you to get residency fairly quickly as well. Finally there is the option of investment. You need to invest a significant amount (more than $100,000 I believe) in a Costa Rican business, reforestation project, etc. It's not too hard, but many people come here and take a vacation every 90 days. As long as you leave every 90 days for 3 days or more you can stay as long as you want. You can fully buy all kinds of property without being a resident. It's quite popular that people come here for vacation and never live back home ;-)

    $1,000 a month, my lips are drooling already, might have to plan a short vacation to Costa Rica after we've learned some Spanish. Thanks for the info.
