Spanish homework, need help from a Spanish speaker

My Spanish teacher has given me some homework for the next lesson, basically a bunch of questions I should ask our next door neighbour, except she lives in another city and only comes down for weekends, so I'm running out of time to get the answers hence my plea for help from any Spanish speaker. If any of my readers would be willing to answer the questions, or get a Spanish friend, wife, mother-in-law, man down the street etc to help me out it would be really appreciated. Here's the questions;

¿Tienes cuantos hijos?
¿Vives aqui hace cuanto años?
¿Tienes hermanos?
¿Tus padres estan vivos?
¿Tienes mascotos?
¿A ti te gusta Sevilla?

I know the last question might be difficult, so substitute where you live. Also I need the answers in Spanish not English, and I'll use the trusty dictionary and the free Spanish ebook course to help me work out what you're saying. Oh, one more thing, if someone else has already replied, please still answer, the more practice I get the better.

Wife's asleep. I'm a halfway Spanish speaking Internet neighbor. Does this help?

¿Tienes cuantos hijos? Yo tengo una hija.

How many children do you have? I have a daughter.

¿Vives aqui hace cuanto años? Dos años más o menos.

How long have you lived here? Two years, more or less.

¿Tienes hermanos? Yo tengo cinco hermanos. Tres hermanos, y dos hermanas.

Do you have siblings? I have five siblings. Three brothers and two sisters.

¿Tus padres estan vivos? Si! Ellos vive en Michigan (Estados Unidos).

Your parents are alive? Yes! They live in Michingan (USA).

¿Tienes mascotos? Si, tengo un mascota. Garu, un perro Shar-Pei.

Do you have pets? Yes, one pet. My dog Garu, a Shar-Pei.

¿A ti te gusta Sevilla? Si, mucho ;-)

Do you like Sevilla? Yes, much!

That's awesome Paul, thanks very much. It would be so much better if I could actually ask the questions verbally but at least now my tutor and I can role play these answers.

I had an email from some rude (...) who tried to tell me I should do my own homework, you know make up my own answers, but the next lesson is only our fourth, we don't know how to answer these questions yet - grrr, lol.

Always glad to help. I hope my grammar is alright. I'm pretty sure it's OK, since I kept everything brief.

It's funny, I speak so much Spanish that I actually get mixed up when I'm speaking English on the phone.

This is doing you homework, it's just not speaking it. If you want to practice speaking you can always Skype me. Only problem is I speak Costa Rican Spanish which is a bit different.

    Hello:-)
    A few small alterations:

    ¿Tienes cuantos hijos? > ¿Cuantos hijos tienes?

¿Vives aquí hace cuanto años? > ¿Cuantos años hace que vives aquí?

    ¿Tienes mascotos? > ¿Tienes mascotas?

I am of Spain concretly of Cordoba (Andalucia) :-)

Thank you, seeing the questions rearranged is great, it means I can see how the question could be asked differently and I have another Spanish lesson today so I'll show the alterations to my tutor.

Cordoba is a beautiful city, I love the old town, now I need to go read your Inkscape tutorials :-)

That's really interesting about our questions not being good Spanish, is it just in Spain or through the whole Spanish world?

The questions of your teacher, are incorrect in any Spanish-speaking country.

Oh, that isn't good. We might have to find another teacher one day, but in Ronda it isn't so easy it's a small town...

In June we hope to find another house to rent, we hope in the country, a small finca, and then we might have to find another teacher. Thank you for letting me know we have a problem, and tomorrow I think I might write another blog entry with some more of the Spanish we've learned. If it isn't any trouble maybe you could look at some of the other phrases and let me know if they are OK?
