Entrecard Contest, 3500EC up for grabs

Here it is, this is something I've seen other bloggers do and it really seems to work. I'm going to give away 2000EC to the winner of my first Entrecard contest.

Here's what you need to do. Its very simple. Write a minimum 150 word post on your blog about my contest, or my site, or anything to do with my themes etc, you need to link to my site and one of my posts in your post body. So that's two links all up, one to my home page, and another to one of my posts, it can be any post. Your post needs to be permanent, but the incentive is that I'll link to you as well.

The prizes go like this. First prize is 2000EC, second prize is 1000EC, 3rd prize is 500EC and the contest expires 20th May. So basically its a short contest, the winners will get their credits on the 20th or 21st. I'll basically put all contestants names into a hat and my other half will pull three names out.

Simple contest, no unnecessary rules, no vote rigging, no extra chances etc, just write a post, comment here so I know you've entered the contest and may the luckiest person win.

    Great offer. 2000EC is a lot for those with slow connection. Even with fast bandwidth connection, it will still take more than two days to accumulate such since there is a limitation of 600 per day per IP address. I am good to go ;-)

    Carl, first of all thanks for stopping at my blog and adding a comment. I always like to connect to my commentators and you did the same.

    @ the contest, I would really like to see the success ratio of Entrecard contests, as it was a craze a while back but as I am not tracking it anymore, I am not sure how bloggers still respond to Entrecard.

    Adding little bit of green [money] here and there helps to shoot up the contest popularity though.

    I've had a good response to this contest so far. At this rate I'm expecting about 7 or 8 contestants, maybe more, and I think the problem with a lot of Entrecarders at the moment is they don't realise how powerful the service is. Even with a really high bounce rate the credits keep going up allowing you to advertise on other blogs. I love it.

    I saw the power of Entrecard, and due to EC, I became regular to many new blogs. But for the new blog without lot of content, it will bring little exposure and increase in alexa ranking at max.

    The high bounce rate due to the jumps from one blog to another, really does not help much. But certainly it helps to increase traffic rank and get few real readers.

    Meanwhile, Carl - why don't you submit this post to many contests blog around. You can expect 10-15 more reviews for the blog I believe as the contest would get exposure.
