Greece - Kalomira
Shame about the performances though, and how on earth anyone could think Russia deserved to win with their lame excuse of a song I do not know. The guy can't sing, his performance was very formula, and frankly the ice skater dancing around the stage was just distracting, but anyway, obviously wiser heads then mine had the casting vote.
My personal favourites were Norway, Greece, and Armenia, but only one of those made it into the top three which is a shame because they all have the potential to be successful outside of Eurovision.
I was pleased to see that countries like Ireland and Estonia didn't make it into the final with their joke of an entry, but it didn't make much of a difference considering we still had Latvia and their terrible pirate song, or Bosnia with their weird idea of indie rock. Was this ever actually supposed to be a singing and song-writing contest, or has it always been about live stupidity?
Either which way, I won't be watching next year, the best performers get nowhere, and the people who treat the whole thing as a joke get all the votes. Stupidity!

I can hear and understand your frustration. I would have felt the same way if Idol had been like that. Fortunately, the best always do seem to win on Idol.

In Spain we've talked a lot about our song this year. Yes, it was amazingly freak, but we can't say we have provided much better songs in the past years.

Spain's entry was kinda weird but really catchy, at least you can sing along to it. Although its being played to death on TV, and a lot of websites I go to have the banner for his song on ringtone. His face really stands out!
