FREE Shipping of wine and spirits within the USA at Drink UP NY. This is a great looking website that has one of the largest selections of alcoholic beverages I think I've ever seen online.

You may wonder why I'd use a service like this, well actually they ship internationally, but what I'm personally more interested in are the bottle stoppers which are a variety I've used in the past and can't get locally, and at those prices plus the advantage of accepting Paypal makes this a site worth looking at.

Of course many of you are probably more interested in the beverages, and I can't blame you for that, these lazy summer evenings lend themselves perfectly to a full-bodied red, or a whiskey on the rocks.
Drink Up NY also carry a reasonable range of spirits, have you ever heard of Shochu, hmmm, I hadn't either. It's a blend of rice wine and either potato or barley, and if you're a sake drinker you'll probably enjoy it.

Personally I stay away from liqueurs, I prefer wine or whiskey/vodka cocktails, I've learned my lesson from past encounters with beverages that go down the throat far too easily but leave a powerful reminder of their presence the next morning.

    Alcohol over the internet? I might have to give this a try.

    It looks like they have a pretty extensive extension, but I don't buy enough alcohol to know how their prices compare...

    Very cool indeed, in Canada they don't allow us to ship that kind of stuff over the internet. Also I'm not sure how well Canada Post mailing will handle the insurance if the glass bottle were to break during transit, nice thoughts though. hehe
