Now for people who live in other parts of Europe or the US this might not be exciting news, but here in Ronda things work a little slower, so this is actually a major development, and proof that the 21st century is coming to our little part of Spain.
The kiosk actually impressed me when I looked at it, it's waterproof, and tourism information for Ronda can be used free of charge, but customers pay for checking their email or visiting sites that aren't specifically to do with tourism in Ronda.
It even has a camera for taking snapshots of users standing in Ronda that they can email to friends. Sadly it doesn't have a microphone that I could see, so accessing Skype and calling home doesn't seem like an option.
The company who make this kiosk provide wi-fi services in other towns, so my hope is that if this works we might get wi-fi coverage in Ronda as well. Being able to check my mail while walking around the main shopping precinct would be great.
