A few weeks ago I bought a license for Micro Niche Finder, a Windows based keyword analysis tool for Internet Marketers and people who want to start on the make money online journey. The thing is that finding keywords is difficult, sure you can analyze and analyze, but the reality is that you need a formula if you're going to be successful.
I'm lazy. Yup, I'm an Internet Marketer, but I don't like work even if it means I'm going to make money from doing the work. For me keywords research is a chore. You go to Google's AdWords Keyword Tool and you punch in the keywords you want to target, then you... it's hard work and I doubt anyone actually enjoys it.
Tools that make it easy to analyze keywords are becoming more popular with IMers because we'd rather spend time building content or getting backlinks than chasing down keywords. In fact every successful Internet Marketer will tell you that building backlinks to your sites is at least 90% of your workload.
Micro Niche Finder takes the drudgery out of finding keywords and makes it easy to determine if a niche is really easy to compete for, or if you're going to struggle against existing competition. The software uses the same basic techniques as using Google's keyword tool, but it gives you a lot more information from the get go.
But most importantly, it has a killer feature that makes the price you pay 110% too cheap. It's called
Strength of Competition and it's dynamite. In two steps you could be looking at a bunch of keywords that are so ripe for the picking you'll be wondering how come you never heard of this before.
Strength of Competition means you can tell immediately if the keyword is green (go baby!), yellow, or red (don't bother!). Green means a bunch of articles on ezinearticles or a bunch of blog comments may be all you need to hit number one on page one, and if that isn't worth $97 I don't know what is.
Check out
Micro Niche Finder, watch their videos, you will not regret making the decision to buy this software.

We are not talking about advertiser competition, which is what the Google AdWords tools gives you, we are talking about publisher/website competition, so you can see how easy it will be to rank for you keyword in Google's search results.
If you are proficient at building websites you'll know how easy it is to create a niche website, but if you only look at advertiser competition then you only get a very small part of the story. Advertisers for your niche is great, but if you don't rank for your keyword then what is the point of creating your website?

You seem to be reasonably advanced from your previous comments, so I imagine the ebooks I've mentioned aren't of much interest to you, and to be fair most of my blog posts are aimed at newbies who find me through Google or get referred by Mashable or Problogger.
Market Samurai is a great piece of software but I've completely switched to Micro Niche Finder because of the SOC (Strength of Competition) and another tool, MOB (Measure of Backlinks) which tells you exactly how many relevant backlinks you need to get to rank on page one ar at position one for your keyword. This isn't 100% accurate but a low number vs a high number gives me a lot of confidence that I can develop a niche site that earns very quickly, compared to battling away and then discover I screwed up somewhere, maybe I didn't do as much research as I could of done.
