Edit: This template has been superseded by the updated andreas08 which includes multiple colorsets and the ability to swap the sidebar from right to left of the content. All of my templates are availble on my
download page.
Original: I'm pleased to release my first
Andreas Viklund theme, Andreas08. This is a 100% css theme, and is ideally suited to a business blog. Changing colors is easy, and would look great in yellow/dark grey, or perhaps shades of green. Or even
shades of pink and maybe
even more pink.
The
original blue version is available to download.If you decide to use andreas08 for serendipity please feel free to comment below so other bloggers can see your implementation.
Once you've downloaded Andreas08, you will need to change the links that appear in the navbar. The homepage and login links shouldn't be changed, although you could remove the login link if you prefer. To change the about, photos, music links, open index.tpl from the Andreas08 template folder, and in the section where the navbar is located, you'll see;
<li><a href="#">About</a></li>
Changing this is easy, delete the # sign, and in its place, making sure you leave the surrounding " " marks in place, simply insert your link. Then where it reads 'About', change to the word you would prefer to use, for example;
<li><a href="http://www.carlgalloway.com">Carl's Blog</a></li>
I've also converted
andreas06 to serendipity.
