Andreas Viklund, one of my favourite designers, has produced a new HTML template, andreas00. This will be the last in the 0x series of themes from Andreas and takes elements from each of his other successful themes to create a visually attractive theme. I love the header. Read Andreas' announcement.

The Serendipity version of this theme is now available for users to download and try. There are no special requirements for using andreas00, simply unzip and upload to your templates folder. Over time I plan to add a few small changes as user feedback comes in. Download andreas00.

    I admit being short-sighted 8-), but even the enlarged screenshots are too small (at least for me) to give a sound opinion.

    Hm. I can't say that I have requests, but I think it would look better if the font in the article titles was a little bit smaller, closer to the font size of the article itself.

    Moreover, the upper left list items need some padding. "Article mode" and the other items in that list should look like "All categories" down below.

    Finally, I'd reduce spacing between two entries in the middle column, but that's all (from this screenshot, of course ;-)).

    Good call, I'll look at all of those, except for the static pages links, unfortunately the padding at the left is hard-coded into the plugin output - Arrgh!

    Yes, and also sorry, the German translation hasn't been updated. Unfortunately I don't speak German very well, not enough to translate my entries, and Matthias volunteers his time to help me.

    The first full release will be tomorrow, but if you download the current zipfile (English page) it is about 95% complete.

    I've had some time to look at it on my local machine now - great job, although I admit that what I love about it the most is the fact that you did the tableless layout I had already give up on :-) The header and colors are not exactly "me", so expect to see some spinoff on my blog soon ;-)

    One thing I don't like is the link to comments and trackbacks, but that might be debatable. I feel that it is more "logical" or "natural" to click the word "Comments" to get to the comments, not the number of comments.

    Another thing that I think is (maybe) confusing for visitors: You have only one backlink in the header, which is basically fine. But on the detail page you now have to click on the name of the post to get back to the index page which might be slightly confusing ...
