Serendipity site down?, try these links

Edit: The servers are now back online, however the forum now has a new url, please update your bookmarks. Also, make sure you bookmark s9y-users.com which is now accepting lniks in the directory, but will soon be launched with the "unofficial" Serendipity news blog.

Recently the Serendipity project was donated an extra server which was wonderful news. With this extra processing power Jannis has made the call to restructure the site, and move things around within the server. Unfortunately things didn't go to plan, and one of the servers has crashed and is waiting for spare parts.

So, while we wait for the server to be fixed, we can still get to the sourceforge project homepage, and if you follow the links you can still download Serendipity, or browse the CVS and download updates to the core files, plugins and templates. Also, the serendipity blog and supersized are still up and running.

I know I speak for Jannis and Garvin when I thank everyone for their patience, please blog this entry so other users don't feel left out.

Donations, Jannis is calling for help in sponsoring a backup server. May I suggest that if we all donated a few dollars that we could very quickly raise enough money to get the ball rolling. Any users who wish to make a donation can either do so by following the paypal donate link on this page, or email Jannis. Any donations made on this site will be transferred to Jannis asap.
