The Connections is now available to download. Ported from Wordpress, this is a very attractive two column theme mostly in shades of green and beige which is easily customised by changing colours and header/sidebar images. Read the background info for this theme. Connections for Serendipity has been tested under Firefox and IE6. It will also work with the freetag plugin.

EDIT 21-12-2005: I hate cross-browser problems. Anyway, I feel good about getting that off my chest. A big thanks to Lewe who pointed out an ugly formatting problem when viewed with the Opera browser. Unfortunately this appears to be a known bug in the way the Opera browser is written and meant that if the content pane was shorter than the sidebar pane its vertical alignment would be set to middle instead of top. Finding the fix for this wasn't easy, all the known fixes refused to work. Thanks to Brett for the eventual fix. Simply place a valign="top" into the containing <tr>. What a bizarre fix but it works and Opera fans should now be able to use this theme as it was intended. The zipfile for this theme has been updated.

Love the Port of the Connections Skin, thanks very much for it.
I am using Opera as Browser and I found an error when viewing extended entries. This problem is not applicable for Firefox. Here is a screenshot:

Could you have a look at it?

It would be great if you could post another comment in here to let me know when it's fixed. I am thinking about switching to Connections 100%, but that's only possible if working flawlessly with Opera, as I am totally addicted to it.

Thanks for the reply on the fourms. I actually didn't even think about this. But Yes, I love the Connections Port. It is a wonderful layout, and from what i can see, it was provided by a great author. Keep up the good work.
